Happy Holidays

I’m calling this issue “Happy Holidays” not to make a statement in our politically-correct culture but because you will read this issue in between Christmas and New Year’s. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for reading Pastoral Care for Pastors. You have been an encouragement to me over the months I’ve been writing and your positive feedback has been a gift.

This issue is bittersweet for me. I had intended to begin a new series on goal-setting, which I thought would be appropriate as we head into the new year. But then I decided to change gears. I’m going to be moving away from a weekly newsletter. I haven’t completely fleshed out the future yet, but I’m going to focus on making products to help pastors. 

In the meantime, I’d love to stay connected with you. I’ve created a podcast for my church, Love First, that has been going out daily since Advent began. I’m not sure if I will continue with the daily format, but I will at least continue with a weekly lesson on Sunday and something in the midweek. I’d love for you to connect with me at Love First Discipleship.

Thank you again for reading and for all of your encouragement. This newsletter has been a big learning curve for me and, at the same, a labour of love. I pray you have been blessed by it.
